Dotty's Mother's Eggnog
3 large egg yolks
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup Jack Daniels Bourbon or George DICKEL Tennessee Sour Mash Whiskey Old No.8 Brand
1 quart whole milk
3 large egg whites, beaten to stiff peaks
1/2 pint heavy cream whipped

Put yolks in a large bowl and beat slightly, add sugar, then Tennessee liquor, using whisk, then add milk. When mixed, fold in beaten egg whites and whipped cream. Can be served immediately or chilled and served later, stir before serving.

Serve in punch cups topped with nutmeg or colored sprinkles.

NOTE: This recipe contains raw eggs. The US Department of Agriculture does not recommend eating raw eggs, however, using pasteurized eggs are a safe alternative.
