Noah's lemon tree - December, 2005

My two lemon trees growing in my yard survived the hurricanes this year, as they did last year, and the two years before that.

I live in Gulf Breeze, Fla. near Pensacola, and lemon trees are not often seen here because of the cold weather in the winter. I have been told that I could plant a 2x4 and make it grow.

I learned how to farm during the Great Depression days while I scratched in the soil in the hills of Tennessee in order to survive.

May I offer you a martini with a fresh tree ripe twist?
